Effective February 23, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CommuteGlance mobile application ("the App") operated by CommuteGlance ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
CommuteGlance provides real-time and scheduled transit departure information for the Washington DC metropolitan area and surrounding transit systems. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use to help you plan your commute.
The App displays transit information sourced from public transit agencies including WMATA, VRE, MARC, Fairfax Connector, ART, Dash, and others. While we strive to provide accurate and timely information:
You should not rely solely on the App for time-critical travel decisions. Always allow extra time and verify with official transit agency sources when precision is critical.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CommuteGlance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We are not liable for any missed transit connections, late arrivals, or other consequences arising from inaccurate or delayed transit data displayed in the App.
The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by CommuteGlance and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Transit data displayed in the App is sourced from public transit agencies and is subject to their respective terms and licenses.
You agree not to:
We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without prior notice.
The App relies on third-party services including public transit agency APIs and, optionally, Sentry for crash reporting. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to restrict access to the App if these Terms are violated.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at support@commuteglance.com.
